Micronet is a voluntary organization for IT professionals at the University of California, Berkeley and others who are involved with or interested in campus computing support. It is a campus "community of practice" for IT people, and has a seat on the Council of Staff Organizations.

Micronet operates via meetings and an active, public mailing list.

Historically, Micronet meetings have been held the 4th Wednesday of the month, from 10:30 am - 12:00 noon in 150 University Hall. As UHall space has been getting more difficult to obtain, meetings have been scheduled when and where space is available.
