Deciphering MSSEI Compliance
To build on top of the existing campus Information Security policies and guidance, the Information Security and Policy team is building a new documentation tool and update to the compliance process to help applications using non-public institutional data comply with campus Minimum Security Standard for Electronic Information (MSSEI). In this Micronet presentation, we hope to demystify the compliance process, and at the same time, gather feedback to continue to improve the compliance process. Whether it’s a legacy system, or a new web application you are planning, if you have questions like these:
- What do the MSSEI controls really mean?
- How does one the implement MSSEI controls?
- Where to document what you just implemented to secure the institutional data?
Please join us for a sneak preview of these new tools and updated compliance processes, follow by an open discussion.
